Course Outline: Level I
Disclosing the Self

Level I is the introduction to Reiki and includes a study of its definition, origin, Reiki Principles, Auras, Introduction to Chakras, benefits of Reiki, the Reiki hand positions, preparation for your Distant Attunement, and Attunements themselves.

Upon completion of this course you will be certified as a Level I Reiki Practitioner.

During this course (from level I to IIIA)  you will not only learn about Reiki but you will also be introduced to many other Esoteric healing practices. The courses will comprise both the Traditional Reiki and Non-traditional Reiki variants, including exercises, meditations and practices from Yoga, Qi Gong and Pranic healing.

The lessons will follow the pattern as below, and will be in the form of webpages and e-mail.

• What is Reiki : About Reiki, its history, traditional and new insights by ongoing research.
• Experiencing Reiki : How does it work, and learning Reiki.
• The preliminary theory of the Chakras and nadis.
• Hand positions and Reiki practice for the next 21 days.
• Reiki Attunements : Two attunements spread over 2 days.
• Healing by touch.
• Color breathing Meditation to clear and charge the Chakras/Aura.
• Holding the Energy ball.
• Giving a Reiki treatment to self and others.
• Common ailments : hand positions for healing common health problems.
